MentorPRO Academy Launches Fall Training Series!

MentorPRO Academy is thrilled to announce its Fall 2025 course lineup designed to meet the need for culturally responsive, evidence-based training in youth mental health and behavioral health careers!

Starting September 30, Mentoring for Youth Mental Health returns as MentorPRO’s most popular live course. Taught by Dr. Liz Raposa, this six-week training equips mentors and program staff with research-backed tools to support youth facing anxiety, trauma, and more.

Launching September 8, the Certification in Therapeutic Mentoring program, taught by Dr. Alex Werntz, offers intensive skills development through live sessions and a one-on-one oral exam. Participants earn a certificate from the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring and gain essential experience in therapeutic approaches to mentoring.

Also available this fall is the expanded Community Health Worker (CHW) Training, now open to the public via UMass Boston’s Online & Continuing Education! This three-course certification pathway prepares participants for CHW certification in Massachusetts, with a specialization in therapeutic mentoring.
