The Michelle Obama Podcast features a two-part episode that discusses the importance of mentoring relationships.

In part one of her discussion about mentorship, “Working Women: Valerie Jarrett and the Importance of Mentorship”, Obama reflects on personal growth in the workplace with her former boss and friend, Valerie Jarrett.

In the second half of the episode, titled “Across Generations: Michelle Obama and Her Mentees”, Michelle has a discussion with her young team members on the rewards and drawbacks of professional life. They also have a conversation about what it’s like to be a Black woman in 2020.
