Save The Date: European Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring Launches March 17th, 2016 at The European Mentoring Summit
Special development for mentoring in Europe:
March 17th, 2016 the second edition of the European Mentoring Summit will take place in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. This summit is organized by MentorProgramma Friesland and its collaborative partners: VET Friesland College, VET Friese Poort, VET Nordwin College, Stenden University of Applied Sciences, and NHL University of Applied Sciences.
We are happy to inform you about the keynote speakers of the day: Prof. Dr. Jean Rhodes (University of Massachusetts Boston), Prof. Dr. Nico van Yperen (University of Groningen) and Dr. Jens Schneider (University of Osnabrück). The subject of the summit is ‘Research, Evidence-Based Mentoring, and 21st century skills’. This event is at the same time part of the “Knowledge and Innovation Calendar” of the Dutch EU Presidency in 2016.

During the summit, the official launching of the European Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring will take place. This Center is geared at conducting research, generating knowledge and sharing evidence-based methodology. In September 2015 the collaborating institutions for higher and vocational education signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Prof. Dr. Jean Rhodes, director of MENTOR/UMB Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring, with Mr W.
