New Newsletter Focusing on Effective Allyship for LGBTQ+ Youth
As LGBTQ+ youth across the country face mounting challenges to their rights, safety, and sense of belonging, many are asking: What does it truly mean to be an ally?
In response to that question, longtime advocate and youth development leader Dr. Christian Rummell has launched a new newsletter: Ally: Verb in Action. This timely and heartfelt project is designed to support anyone including educators, parents, mentors, youth workers, and caring community members, who want to take real, meaningful steps to stand with LGBTQ+ youth.
Through reflections, stories, and practical strategies, Ally: Verb in Action offers a space for learning, connection, and action. It’s a continuation of Rummell’s decades of work focused on mentoring, resilience, and creating spaces where all young people can feel seen, supported, and safe.
