Dr. Jean Rhodes to Showcase MentorPRO at UMass Innovates

We’re excited to announce that Dr. Jean Rhodes, Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Mentoring and MentorPRO co-founder, will present at UMass Innovates: Advancing Research, Teaching, and Learning Through AI and Other Technologies on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Her session, “Mentoring in the Age of AI: Augmenting Human Relationships with Human-at-the-Helm Technology,” will explore how artificial intelligence can expand the reach of mentoring programs without compromising the quality of human relationships. Drawing on research and real-world implementation, Dr. Rhodes will examine both the promise and the pitfalls of AI in mentoring contexts.

Using MentorAI, a feature of the evidence-based mentoring platform MentorPRO, the presentation and live demonstration will highlight how institutions can leverage AI-powered tools to identify students who need support, provide mentors with real-time, evidence-based guidance, and thoughtfully scale mentoring efforts—while keeping authentic human connection at the center.

When: Tuesday, April 7, 2026 | 1:15PM ET

Where: UMass Boston Campus Center Ballroom, 3rd Floor | 100 Morrissey Boulevard, Boston
