Discovery channel airs “Rise: The Promise of My Brother’s Keeper

This weekend the Discovery channel and OWN: the Oprah Winfrey Network will aired “Rise: The Promise of My Brother’s Keeper,” a new documentary that featured powerful stories of organizations and people engaged in MBK work around the country.

According to YouthBuild’s David Abromowitz, The film was “especially meaningful to everyone involved in any way with the work of YouthBuild, as it features Johnny Herber, a YouthBuild graduate from the Yuba-Sutter Habitat YouthBuild program in rural northern California. In addition, the film overall captures well the YouthBuild perspective. ”
