Ask Congress to Stand up for Mentoring

Over the next few weeks Congress will decide funding levels for some of the nation’s most important federal programs. We want the needs of young people to be top of mind for members of Congress right now.

Mentoring programs look very different due to the impact of COVID-19. Programs across the nation are connecting young people with the support they need to navigate these challenges. This is why the Youth Mentoring Grant, continues to be critical to supporting direct-service programs as the ONLY mentoring-specific federal grant. Mentoring advocates should call on members of Congress to fund the Youth Mentoring Grant at $120 million in FY21.
