MENTOR, OJJDP Launch National Mentoring Resource Center

MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership (MENTOR) is proud to announce the launch of the National Mentoring Resource Center (NMRC). The goal of the NMRC is to provide comprehensive resources with training and technical assistance to support programs in more deeply incorporating evidence-based practices to improve their quality and effectiveness moving towards more positive outcomes for our nation’s young people. The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention selected MENTOR to establish the Center through a competitive application process. Read the full press release on the NMRC launch.

The National Mentoring Resource Center is comprised of three components: the National Mentoring Resource Center Research Board; the resource center website; and no-cost specialized technical assistance for mentoring programs. The resources and technical assistance are in alignment with the national standards for quality, evidence-based mentoring, The Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring™.
