Dr. Mullen author of The Leadership Identity Journey: An Artful Reflection on Mentoring Today Radio Show with Vince Reardon

Dr. Carol Mullen, a Professor of Educational Leadership at Virginia Tech, will be a guest on the podcast Mentoring Today with Vince Reardon on Friday, September, 18th, at 11:00 a.m. (EDT). They will discuss the topic of reaching beyond traditional mentoring models.

Previously, Dr. Mullen served as director of the School of Education at Virginia Tech and, before that, as chair of the Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies Department at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. This summer, she studied at Southwest University in Chongqing, China, as a Fulbright Scholar. During her stint, Dr. Mullen conducted research, taught two courses, and gave numerous talks and workshops.

Following her Fulbright, she traveled to Shanghai, taking the bullet train and giving keynote addresses to large audiences across China, which was funded by her university’s Global Issues Scholar Program. Dr. Mullen is lead author of The Leadership Identity Journey: An Artful Reflection, with Fenwick English and William Kealy, published last year by Rowman and Littlefield Publishers.
