2027 National Mentoring Summit Heads to Washington, D.C. This January

MENTOR will host its 17th annual National Mentoring Summit January 27–29, 2027, at The Westin Washington, D.C. Downtown. The 2026 Summit drew nearly 1,000 participants and featured more than 80 competitively selected workshops; organizers expect similar turnout for 2027, drawing mentoring practitioners, researchers, philanthropic investors, youth leaders, and government and civic partners from across the country.

The Summit will include main-stage plenary sessions, dozens of workshops on topics ranging from mentoring specific youth populations (including youth of color, 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, and Indigenous and Native youth) to nonprofit management, philanthropic partnerships, and research and evaluation, along with the Excellence in Mentoring Awards recognizing outstanding leadership in the field. Government and civic partners will also have the opportunity to participate in Capitol Hill Day, meeting with members of Congress and their staff to advocate for expanded federal investment in mentoring.
