19th Annual Mentoring Conference Set for Albuquerque This October
The Mentoring Institute at the University of New Mexico will host its 19th Annual Mentoring Conference over five days, from Monday, October 19, through Friday, October 23, 2026, at the UNM Student Union Building in Albuquerque. Last year’s conference drew more than 500 mentoring scholars and practitioners, with 86% coming from higher education institutions as faculty, staff, or students, and the remainder representing the healthcare, government, nonprofit, and business sectors. Organizers say a new strategic partnership is expected to expand this year’s reach.
The conference will bring together faculty, staff, students, researchers, K–12 educators, community leaders, administrators, nonprofit partners, and government representatives for three facilitated learning sessions, two pre-conference workshops, nine plenary sessions, one post-conference micro-credential workshop, and more than 150 individual and panel presentations.
Early registration runs from February 15 through May 15 at $500, with standard registration available from February 15 through May 15 at $600 as well (presenter and full-time student rates are $350–500). Abstract submissions are open February 15 through April 15, with peer-reviewed papers due by July 30. Full refunds are available through June 30, with a 50% refund through July 30.
Registration and full conference details are available here.
