Upcoming Virtual Conference on Addressing Racism in Education: Register Now!
You are invited to the upcoming Psychologists for Racial Justice Conference, Educating Future Generations for a Racially Just Society: Psychologists and Educators Working Together to Address Racism in Education. This year’s conference features an inspiring keynote address by Emmy-nominated producer and award-winning educator Ernest Crim III. We will also feature two APA-approved CE panel discussions.
Many people are facing a challenging and painful period in the country. Deep divisions, feelings of helplessness and hopelessness, and the persistence of racial inequities, coupled with the promise of forthcoming educational policies, threaten to further harm the most vulnerable in our society across the lifespan. Given the current social and political climate, addressing racism in education has never been more urgent for youth, their caretakers, communities, and those who support them.
This dynamic event will bring together psychologists, educators, educational leaders, school-based behavioral health professionals, parents and caretakers, community leaders, policymakers, and students and trainees committed to advancing racial justice in education. Through engaging keynote addresses and panel discussions centered on PreK-12 educational settings and graduate psychology training programs, participants will gain valuable insights into the intersections of education, psychology, and racial justice.
